When we feel weak, tired and stressed, don’t do exercise and our diet is unhealthy – it is worth ensuring we strengthen our immunity. It is advisable to know in advance how to strengthen the body’s natural defence system.
How to strengthen immunity?
regularly replenish necessary immunity boosting vitamins and minerals, especially: zinc, selenium, calcium, vitamin C and omega-3 acids,
take immunity strengthening herbs which are available in pharmacies, e.g. coneflower products (Echinacea) if there is no allergy or contraindications to its use,
in periods of higher incidence (spring, autumn) it is worth taking fish oil – it is a good source of omega-3 acids and vitamins: A, E and D. It is proven that vitamin D strengthens our immunity,
enrich your daily diet with fresh vegetables and fruit, natural honey, buttermilk or yoghurt,
get enough sleep,
do daily exercise – it is enough to go for a walk outside for half an hour ,
if possible – avoid stress at work, at home; and if this is not possible find a way to unwind(sport, relaxation).
