The most common and the most typical symptoms of influenza are, first of all:
the sudden onset of symptoms,
high and rapidly growing fever (even up to 39-41°C),
shivering,
frequent muscle and joint pains,
strong headache,
poor mood, weakness combined with loss of appetite,
persistent cough – initially dry, non-productive, along with the development of the infection it may become wet and productive.
If you notice that you have two of the above mentioned symptoms, visit a physician,
who will diagnose the disease properly and order pharmacological treatment. These are usually combined products for the common cold and influenza and you will need to stay at home for a few days. Remember that influenza is not an ordinary infection. It may pose a danger to your health and even life.
Influenza is a viral infection of the upper respiratory tract, often mistaken for the common cold, due to similar symptoms.
