How to strengthen immunity by natural methods
Aleksandra Uruszczak-Wąsowicz (MPharm)
Stress, changing weather, a poor diet… Many factors cause the body’s natural immunity to deteriorate. Every day we should ensure our body is protected. You do not have to take medical drugs to achieve this, e.g. syrups or immunity boosting medication. Looking for an answer to the question: How can we strengthen the body’s immune system? Simply look around your home to find the answer.
How to strengthen the body?
Aromatherapy – using aromatic oils for the bath, inhalations, a massage or in a burner is a good solution for an immunity booster. Essential oils have been used since ancient times as effective stimulants not only for immunity, but also as a sedative, an energy agent, giving pain relief and relaxing… In order to strengthen immunity it is recommended using the following oils: tea tree (research has proven its immunity stimulating properties), clove, pine, thyme.
Hardening oneself – many people claim that it gives positive effects. We can harden our body against the cold by sleeping with an open window or alternating warm and cold showers, e.g. for the feet. If we harden ourselves in this manner, it will reduce cold receptors on the skin and reduce the effects of cold we feel every day.
Buttermilk, curdled milk and yoghurt – they supply probiotics (positive bacteria), which enhance immune system activity, helping to maintain the body’s natural immunity.
Sport and relaxation – in order to strengthen immunity we need physical activity (outdoors) and relaxation, especially ensuring we get enough sleep.
